  • As you know, I rarely explore unfounded rumours in the newsletter. Or if I mention it, I add a disclaimer that it should be treated with a bucket of salt. With the torrent of Apple rumours over the last few years, I have enough salt to turn the Atlantic into a dead expanse.

  • Finally, we hear something concrete. But we still don't know much - just a name, and a void of corporate silence.

  • Typically it means we may see an announcement 'soon,' as Apple unveils its plans. With the silence, pundits have speculated to high heaven what the Apple headset can do. Soon, we will see Apple play its hand in full.

  • The long and short of it is that people are curious (and confused) about the new frontiers of e-commerce, but are comparatively comfortable with the shopping habits of today.

  • The study can have many interpretations. For me, it shows that working on emerging technologies tends to add blinkers to work; it's a smaller slice of the pie that will grow over time. Big fish, small pond.

  • At the same time, don't dismiss its steady growth. Snap says that 250 million people use AR on its platform every day. All technologies start niche and nascent; in AR's case, it's a clear business case that will continue to evolve.

  • VIVE Arts partnered with Art Basel in Basel to premiere their latest collaborations with Albert Oehlen and Wu Tsang.

  • VRJAM unveiled the first artists to join its Creator Guild.
