  • Skillsearch has opened community input for its annual Salary and Satisfaction Survey, inviting immersive professionals to suggest questions over the next two weeks to ensure the XR section reflects the industry, with contributions welcome via this form.

  • The University of Bonn, TH Köln, and MindPort have secured €2 million from NEXT.IN.NRW to develop Gen-AIvatar, a generative AI project creating lifelike avatars with harmonised voice, movement, gestures, and facial expressions for accessible use in VR and beyond.

  • XPR Labs has launched Taebo Reboot: Master of the Elements in Early Access on 25 September for Meta Quest, bringing Billy Blanks’ iconic fitness program into VR as an interactive training game.
