The Main Story
Let's talk about coding in XR.
I don't know about some readers, but I have the coding capabilities of a wooden spoon. I'm learning platforms like Unity, Spark AR, and ZapWorks, but my capabilities are limited by my ability to code.
Professionals are finding the same, and companies stepped forward to plug the gap in the market with some (profitable) courses. Meanwhile, other platforms provide no-code solutions which allow people to create experiences by stringing together templates. While basic, it helps people get a first jump into the area and make some basic (but still effective) experiences.
Why do I mention all this? Because what about making VR experiences with your voice? That's what
is trying to do. I asked why they built it with VR in mind, and they responded: 'We love the idea of making XR experiences as natural as possible. We see a future where users like to use voice instead of haptic controllers or a combination of both.'
Anything World will not be used by businesses or brands to make enterprise-related applications. But for people who want to have fun, I can see applications like this shooting up in popularity. Yes, coding is vital for complicated and innovative experiences. But sometimes, using your voice and relaxing is enough for a good time.
