Top story
Samsung's first Android XR glasses have leaked (report).
What happened? SammyGuru reports that Samsung's first Android XR glasses are camera equipped smart glasses without a display, weighing from 41g, with a 12MP camera recording 3K video at 30fps, a Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and up to nine hours of battery, or 72 hours with the charging case, across 25 styles from Gentle Monster and Warby Parker.
The glasses will reportedly work with both Android phones and iPhones, though some features need a Samsung flagship running One UI 9 and a Galaxy Watch on Wear OS 7, with Gemini handling the AI and Gentle Monster offering prescription lenses.
The glasses are rumoured to launch in November, after a Samsung official told the Korea Herald the company would release them that month, though no date or price has been confirmed.
