Top story

PICO teams up with Intel for a VR Sports Festival, with finalists coming to a stadium.

  • What’s happening? PICO opened the doors to a competition that culminates in finalists going to Bird’s Nest stadium. The event will feature 2 competitions. The first one is All-in-One Sports VR, including basketball, squash, shooting, boxing, volleyball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, soccer, hockey, and the other one is TempoClub. You can register here.

  • What’s the significance? It’s rare to have a bigger headset manufacturer push for sports and VR. I wonder how it’ll go, and I will follow it closely when it’s finally being played in Bird’s Nest.
