The Immersive Wire is on a break until January
After consistently posting since 2020, it's time for an extended break to come back fresh
The Immersive Wire will be taking a break until the start of January. It’s time to hit pause and recharge a little.
Why? I’ve been feeling a touch of burnout, and I believe my best work is still ahead of me. But to achieve that, I need to take a step back and ask myself, “What does the Immersive Wire truly need to improve?” A weekly newsletter can sometimes lead to a creative scramble, and I want to avoid that. Maintaining quality is important, and I don’t want it to slip as the year comes to a close.
But rest assured, the Immersive Wire will return. The China Report and India Report will continue, alongside the weekly recaps. I also plan to write longer pieces, but I’ll use this time off to reflect on what can work best moving forward.
Thank you to every reader who has opened an email, shared a story, or supported this endeavor in any way. The Immersive Wire has become a trusted resource because of you—a privilege I don’t take lightly. It was a pleasure meeting so many of you during Immersive Tech Week in Rotterdam, and I’m excited to see familiar faces and meet new ones at Stereopsia in January.
If you have feedback, or want to drop a random note, my email is here.
See you in January!
Unfortunately, my drawing and posing will continue as well
