Important Virtual Perceptions News

News updates will come as normal next week, but for now, I have a few important updates from the Virtual Perceptions team:Welcome Ali Flanagan to the team! (Bristol)Virtual Perceptions has now expanded to Bristol! Ali Flanagan, our reporter in the area, would love to meet Bristol-based companies working in immersive reality. If there are any local events in the area, or know anyone who is, please let me know and I will pass on the details to Ali.I want to meet you! (2 October to 6 October)I will be taking a holiday between 2 – 6 October, and I would like to use this time to meet any of you. Whether you work in VR or AR, or dabbling in film making or experimental projects, I am more than happy to pop around and have a good chat. This is probably the most flexible I will be for several months, and as such I am open to any ideas!Thank you for the Immersive Perspective Awards entriesHave to say, it’s going to be tricky deciding nominations. I will keep you updated on what is happening with these, as the judges flick through them. I am available for writing hireNow that I have been working on this website for over a year, I feel comfortable saying I am an expert in VR and writing about the topic. As such, if you have any writing opportunities – whether it would be blogwork, or writing a report – please let me know and I am happy to help. The State of VR in 2018This is a basic announcement that I will be writing the State of VR in 2018, which will be published early next year. I’ll keep you posted on any comment opportunities I may need, and of course I am open to sponsorships as well. That’s all, folks! As always, shout if you have any questions and the like. Oh, and check out my interview in the Drum as well, related to a hobby of mine.  My thanks,Tom FfiskeEditor, Virtual Perceptions
